CALL FOR PAPERS

In keeping with the conference theme, we seek presentations that explore any and all dimensions of language teaching across the globe. We invite teachers and researchers engaged in language teaching in schools, tertiary institutions and community contexts to submit a proposal for a presentation / workshop / colloquium for the NZALT conference. Presentations will be 30 minutes long. Workshops/practical sessions will be 45 minutes long. Colloquia will be of 1.5 hours (90 minutes) and can include three or four papers.

We invite proposals across all themes related to planning, preparing for, resourcing, teaching, assessing and advocating for language learning, including te reo Māori, international languages, community languages, Pacific languages, and New Zealand Sign Language. Our presentations will reflect and represent a vast range of languages. The language of presentations is usually English so that presentations are accessible to as many attendees as possible. However, and in keeping with the multilingual and multicultural emphases of our organisation, presentations in any relevant language are welcome.
